Couples

Congratulations on your engagement!

Our Green Wedding List aims to enable you to start your married life in an environmentally friendly way with an eco wedding list with a green twist. You can compile a list that includes organic bed linen, UK made tableware, fruit trees, hampers, an eco-kettle and books on organic gardening and cooking or on self-sufficiency…

How to set up your green wedding list

  • Use the register tab and complete the registration form. Once registered, the site will automatically create your green wedding list page.
  • You will be sent an email with an ID number that will enable you to access your gift page, and add products to your eco wedding list. If you use HOTMAIL make sure that you check your spam folder to ensure that mail from our site isnt disappearing into it. You need to send the ID number (but not your password) to your wedding guests so that they can use it to view your online green wedding list and to buy you a gift.
  • Log into your page and choose the green gifts that you would like to ask your guests for by searching the product categories.
  • Click on the thumbnails of each present to see them in greater detail.
  • Click to add the green gift that you like to your page
  • We set a minimum list value of £250.00. If actual gifts purchased are less than this, you may still use the wedding list, but we will charge you a small P&P charge. If your wedding list does not total £250.00 we will add vouchers to top it up to this minimum value.
  • You can add and remove (if they haven't yet been bought) items until one month before your wedding.
  • To view an example online wedding list log in as a guest, using the enter the ID: 163

Closing your green wedding list & receiving your green gifts

We will close your list one month after your wedding.

We stock most of the products on the list, although some are made especially for you or have specific delivery arrangements (e.g. fruit trees and food are seasonal and are sent directly from the supplier, some of the pottery and baskets are made to order).

As items are bought for you, we gather them together.

You will see a message from the person that bought you a product and will receive an email to notify you of the purchase.

We collate all wedding presents and send them to you together one month after your wedding, to reduce unnecessary additional postage costs. Your guests will not receive the items individually.

If you choose vouchers instead of gifts, this can delay your delivery date, especially if you order non-stock items. We will contact you two weeks after your wedding to see how you wish to use your vouchers and will endeavour to send you your gifts within three months of your wedding.

Postage and packaging is not charged if you live in Mainland Britain as long as the value of the gifts bought exceeds £250.00. If the final list value is less than this, we charge a nominal fee of £15.00 for P&P.

If you live in Ireland or the Scottish Islands , we will charge you a nominal fee of £25.00 towards your P&P costs.

Keeping your details up to date

If you move house, change email address or change telephone number please make sure that you update your details using the edit details button. We will send gifts to the address that we have on record for you, and cannot be held responsible for gifts sent to out of date addresses.
